Da Vinci Mottler 5080

The Da Vinci Spin Series 5080 is a synthetic brush for acrylic and watercolor paints, designed for thick paint and featuring exceptional absorbency—ideal for those who want control and precision when working on large surfaces.

In the 1960s, the German painter Günther Fruhtrunk requested bristles made from cow ear hair for his work. Today, synthetic fibers play a major role in meeting similar specialized requests from wholesalers and customers, and the Spin series is one of the results of that development.

The brush is made of a very soft and even blend of synthetic fibers that provides a fine and controlled application, and has been tried and tested with, among other things, thick-consistency paints and watercolors. It features a stainless steel ferrule, manufactured to DUROPLUS quality standards, and a red-and-black polished handle made of lacquered wood, which provides a sturdy and elegant grip. Suitable for acrylics and watercolors on watercolor paper and canvas.
